An Intensive Care Unit is a place where critically ill patients are cared for. Patients in the ICU are usually those who require continuous monitoring and those on machines supporting organs like the heart, lungs, kidneys, etc. An ICU consists of physicians, nursing staff, technicians, respiratory therapists, physiotherapists and cleaning staff who work round the clock to help the patients recover at the earliest. We at Helios Hospitals have a 10 bedded ICU with state of the art facilities and the latest equipment (like ventilators, dialysis machines, syringe pumps, fluid warmers, DVT compression devices, air warmers and central monitoring systems) and a dedicated team to take care of critically ill patients.
